Abstract:

Gompertz-Poisson distribution is a three-parameter lifetime distribution with increasing, decreasing, increasing-decreasing and unimodal shape failure rate function and a composition of Gompertz and Poisson distributions cut at zero point that in this paper estimated the parameters of the distribution by maximum likelihood method and in order to confirm the calculated estimates, based on random sample with volumes of 100, 200, 300, 400 and 500 of Gompertz-Poisson distribution simulation study was conducted. Also with the help of two real data sets and comparing Gompertz-Poisson distribution with several other distributions of lifetime we show this distribution is a good model for data fitness related to lifetime../files/site1/files/0Abstract7.pdf

The Gompertz-Makeham distribution

This work is about the Gompertz-Makeham distribution. The distribution has been applied plenty of times. The properties of the Gompertz-Makeham distribution investigated in this work are unimodality of the Gompertz-Makeham distribution and relationship between the median value and the mean residual life time of the Gompertz-Makeham distribution. For most of the realistic set of parameter values...

A New Generalization of the Gompertz distribution

‎In this paper‎, ‎a new distribution of the three-parameter lifetime model called the Marshall-Olkin Gompertz is proposed on the basis of the Gompertz distribution‎. ‎It is a generalization of the Gompertz distribution having decreasing failure rate and can also be increasing and bathtub-shaped depending on its parameters‎. ‎The probability density function‎, ‎cumulative distribution function‎,...

The Beta - Gompertz Distribution La Distribución Beta - Gompertz

In this paper, we introduce a new four-parameter generalized version of the Gompertz model which is called Beta-Gompertz (BG) distribution. It includes some well-known lifetime distributions such as beta-exponential and generalized Gompertz distributions as special sub-models. This new distribution is quite flexible and can be used effectively in modeling survival data and reliability problems....

application of brand personality scale in automobile industry: the study of samand’s brand personality dimensions

The Exponentiated Poisson-Lindley Distribution; Features and Applications in Reliability

Abstract. In this paper a new three-parameter lifetime distribution named “the Exponentialed Lindley-Poisson (E-LP) distribution” has been suggested that it has an  increasing, decreasing and invers bathtube hazard rate depending on the parameter values. The (E-LP) distribution has applications in economics, actuarial modeling, reliability modeling, lifetime and queuing problems and biological ...
